    Active Adult Supervision

    Have an adult assigned to supervise children when in or around a swimming pool at all times.

    Remove children from pool before using the phone at any time.

    Always maintain consistent eye contact when a child is in the pool.

    Barriers

    Install a 4ft self closing, self latching mesh fence enclosure.

    Use multiple layers of protection such as door alarms, pool alarms, covers, motion detection services.

    Remove any chairs, tables or large toys that could allow your child to climb the fence.

    Classes

    Enroll your child in survival swim lessons.

    Teach them to float on their back.

    Learn how to perform CPR. This could be vital if an accident were to ever occur.
